Amy Goyeau Sasscer’s professional journey is rooted in a lifelong commitment to public service, leadership development, and fostering personal and professional wellness. For more than two decades, Amy has dedicated herself to individual, organizational, and community transformation. At the heart of her work is a simple belief: when people are empowered to reach their potential, they foster stronger teams, healthier organizations, and more vibrant communities.

Following her graduation from the University of Michigan, Amy spent 12 years as an educator. Her passion and dedication were recognized when she was honored as Teacher of the Year in 2012 and achieved National Board Certification. She later served as an instructional coach, assessment developer, and curriculum creator, expanding her impact in supporting educators and advancing student success.

Appointed Executive Director of the Dare Education Foundation in 2018, Amy led major grant initiatives, managed affordable housing complexes to support educator retention, and cultivated a positive organizational culture that deepened community engagement. Her years of experience as a coach and consultant specializing in personal accountability, stress resilience, and change management have strengthened her ability to help others lead and live with purpose.

After earning her Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2021, Amy founded Bright Light Collaborations to support individuals and organizations in doing meaningful work with clarity and resilience.

Certified in Lifestyle and Wellness Coaching (Harvard Medical School), the 10 Principles of Personal Leadership (LeadQuest Consulting), the Community Resilience Model (Trauma Resource Institute), and Mindful Education (Mindful Schools), Amy brings a thoughtful and integrated approach to leadership, wellness, and implementation.
